Funny Things My Dad Says

My dad said:
"And they put their foot to the wall!"

He meant:
"He put his foot down!"

My dad said:
"square and fair"

He meant:
"fair and square"

My dad said:
"Anybody have anything that could go into the throat?"

He meant:
"Does anyone have any snacks?"

That last one is my favorite, for sure.

He is not from this country, can you tell? :)
