the calm before the storm

yesterday at noon it was eerily quiet out.. the sky was silent, the air felt heavy... just 10 minutes late the snow was coming down hard- 1/2 in each in just a few minutes... we closed the office at 2 pm and drove home at a snail's pace. it took me 30 minutes to go 1 mile. took my bro hourrrrs to get home, same thing for my sister in law. the roads were sooo bad!

anyway it was just lovely to get snowed in for an afternoon.. painted my nails, watched junky tv (charmed, and i know it's bad, but im SO addicted), napped, and relaxed... all while watching the blankets and blankets of snow!!

i love little rhodey! (sorry daggers)

We are supposed to get 5 to 9 inches of snow this afternoon... I am feeling all giggly and smiley... it is like a present coming down from the sky! I love love LOVE snow!!!!

In other, related news... the supermarket was SLAMMED this morning with people buying "in case there is a blizzard" supplies.. i ran in for a box of Special K, and twenty minutes later I was finally out! Rhode Islanders are nut jobs, and that's why I love them!

another great weekend with PB and friends...

Friday headed to the city for some holiday cheer. had a nice dinner with PB, my twin penguin and her lovah in Nolita. Saturday relaxed and enjoyed PB's company before braving the mad city! Manhattan at Christmastime is MADNESSSSS! There were hella people everywhere it was hard just strolling along. We shopped and hung out with the aunties and ate and walked and shopped some more... saw all the drunk santas after the santa run!! (surprised I didn't see anyone I know!)

saturday night almost missed the connection in trenton, nj to get to philly. luckily my philly boy turned into a TRUE philly boy.. a little attitude with a smile and we found out they would hold the train!

sunday had the most amazing day. got to see PB's mom and ate at the Reading Terminal and went to a fantastic store and just had one of those lovely no care in the world afternoons.. i love days like that...

I never understood what people meant by when you know, you KNOW but now I understand that.. I couldn't imagine finding a more beautiful person to pass my days with... I am in the clouds.....

Busy busy beeeee

I haven't stopped moving today/this week/ever.

I will update on all the good times asap, but for now there is too much work to do!!!!
